Frequently asked questions
The World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) is Dominica’s premier music event, celebrating Creole music and culture through three nights of live performances by local, regional and international artists. It’s held annually at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau.
The festival is held on the last weekend in October, coinciding with Dominica’s Independence season. In 2025, the festival takes place October 24–26.
All performances take place at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau, Dominica’s capital. Fringe events happen across the island in the weeks before and after the festival.
The WCMF showcases the full spectrum of Creole music, including bouyon, cadence-lypso, zouk, reggae, dancehall, soca and afrobeat, alongside other genres that reflect the Creole world’s diversity.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.dominicafestivals.com, at official ticket booths in Roseau and through selected regional outlets. Visitors are encouraged to buy early to secure the best prices.
